I should have posted right away but I really wanted to soak up that movie.  It was worth every penny and one I would go see twice .   I saw the Avatar 3D and while there were moments I felt my motion sickness problem nudge me, it wasn’t too bad. 



This new World of Pandora and the Na’Vi is an incredible story and lots of action.  Really rotten bad guys and a hero to die for.  The colors in this movie are vibrant and with 3D its just adds to the thrill.   Now there are some articles out there about the effects this movie has and personally, its utter garbage.  People getting “depressed” because they can’t visit this make believe world.  Come on…get a grip!  There are more articles about nausea which I can vouch for but ONLY if you already have motion sickness issues.  The quick fix for that is shift your eyes from the screen and let them focus for a moment on the wall.  Stabilize your vision and you will be fine.  One of the really sad parts about reading things before you go is some jackasses just have to ruin it.  LOL.


Lets talk about the review by one guy who ripped into every detail of the movie and with his “analytical mind” questions where the realism is.  Hello?  Movie is FICTION!  Jackass!  Or lets look at those extreme right wing conservatives who worry the movie is BAD because it promotes another theory other than God as the supreme being.  Look, I believe in God and I think he gave us the tools and smarts to make rational decisions.  IT’S A MOVIE!   And personally, if there was such a place in real life, I wouldn’t hesitate.  


Go see the Movie.  Have fun.  Enjoy the great effects, sound and colors.  Enjoy the story.  Take a break from the BS real life sometimes offers and chill out.

I just saw the date of my last post.  I can’t believe my Geek Posse still bothers to read this…LOL.   I adore my fellow Geek.  This is just a short update but I will add more when I get back later.   I’m going to go see Avatar in 3D today!  Take that!   Someone I know…Kev…better get off his butt and go see it too.  Tell you all about it when I get home.
